Baseball Youth Road Trip's East tour on site for three action-packed days
The Fourth Annual Grand Slam World Series of Baseball begins Monday at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach, Fla., as over a hundred teams are gathering to claim titles in five different age groups. What makes this big-time tournament even better is the Baseball Youth Road Trip will be on hand for the first three days.
Every team in the Grand Slam World Series will play at least two pool play games and then move on to the tournament bracket. Teams are not eliminated after pool play as every team makes the single-elimination tournament for a chance to win the famous Grand Slam trophies.
The U-11 age group is the deepest in this first Grand Slam World Series session as 36 teams have entered this week. Teams from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and more have made the trip to Panama City Beach.
Single-elimination tournament play begins Wednesday as champions will be crowned in each division on the Fourth of July. What a way to celebrate our nation's birth!
