Baseball Youth Road Trip In Omaha for Huge Tournaments During CWS

The Baseball Youth Road Trip kicked off 17 straight days in Omaha Tuesday as the West tour joined the Omaha Champions Village for their first week of play. The West and Midwest tours will both be in Omaha for the duration of the 2012 NCAA Men's College World Series.

The Triple Crown Omaha Slumpbuster kicks off Thursday, June 14 with a huge festival at the Council Bluffs Recreation Complex in nearby Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Slumpbuster festivals are notorious for their excitement and large numbers of youth baseball players and families.

There are four total Slumpbuster sessions throughout the College World Series, and this event brings in over 450 youth teams a year. The Baseball Youth Road Trip will be at the three opening festivals for these sessions with their full FanFest setup on site.

Over at the Omaha Champions Village, youth players are treated to a week-long tournament against stiff competition all while staying on site at the complex. Each team is put up in awesome bunkhouses, and there are fun events all week long for the players and coaches to enjoy.

The College World Series is one of the best two weeks in amateur baseball, and the Baseball Youth Road Trip is looking forward to being in Omaha in the middle of the action.
