Baseball Youth Releases Elite 25 Final Summer Rankings

California's SGV Hustle celebrates their 12U National Youth Baseball Championships victory with a 9-3 win over No. 2 Banditos Black. The Hustle finished their season with a 116-3 overall record.

After an incredible 2013-14 travel baseball season, Baseball Youth has released its Elite 25 Final Summer Rankings for 9U-13U. MLB Sandcrabs (9U), Team MVP Legends (10U), Diamond MVP (11U), SGV Hustle (12U) and Team MVP Elite Squad (13U) finished the season No. 1 and Baseball Youth Elite 25 National Champions in their respective age divisions.

SGV Hustle from Azusa, California won the National Youth Baseball Championships in New York with a 9-3 win over Banditos Black from Houston, Texas. The Hustle were No. 1 all season long and finished their season with an incredible 116-3 record.

The MLB Sandcrabs from Sinton, Texas were in the top 10 all season long and worked their way up the ladder to No. 1 with an impressive finish to their year. Team MVP Legends and Team MVP Elite Squad are both from Miami, and they both had outstanding seasons. Diamond MVP was No. 1 throughout the summer and didn’t let go of that position.

Teams are judged based on overall record, previous tournaments, championships won, competition faced, record against ranked teams and recent performances. Honorable Mention teams that just missed the cut are also named on the Elite 25 lists. The final summer rankings appear in Issue 4 of Baseball Youth magazine that was released Sept. 24.

Congrats to all the teams on these five lists! The Elite 25 rankings will return in 2015. Let us know if your team will be one to watch by posting on our Facebook page or on Instagram or Twitter.
