Baseball Youth Unveils First Elite 25 Team Rankings for 2013

The first Baseball Youth Elite 25 team rankings of 2013 are here, and this year the rankings have expanded to include the 9U and 13U age groups along with 10U-12U. The Elite 25 rankings will appear in three Baseball Youth issues and will be updated every other week on BaseballYouth.com

The five No. 1 ranked teams are Team MVP Legends out of Miami, Florida (9U), Team Florida out of Tampa (10U), MS Storm from Gulfport, Mississippi (11U), Team MVP out of Miami, Florida (12U) and Team MVP from Miramar, Florida (13U).

Florida, California and Texas teams dominate the five age groups, but other states represented are Michigan, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas and more.

Besides the 25 ranked teams in each age group, there are also five Honorable Mention teams. These teams are on the cusp of joining the Baseball Youth Elite 25 with some strong performances or stumbles by ranked teams.

Right now, the 10U-12U rankings are updated on BaseballYouth.com/rankings, and we’re working to update the page with the 9U and 13U age groups. Stay tuned for the next set of rankings on June 24, and let us know if your team should be on the list by posting on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/BaseballYouthMagazine!
