Elite Teams Hit Las Vegas for Triple Crown’s Fall Nationals
Triple Crown Sports hosted its second and final weekend of the Fall Nationals in Las Vegas with 120 teams in 10U, 11U, 13U and 14U making the trip to Sin City. The event was a sell out for every age group over the two weekends.
The 10U age division was loaded with talent from California and Arizona and elite programs like VSA Vipers, SGV Hustle, Sandlot All-Stars Elite and the San Diego Stars. The 10U group was competitive all weekend, and it carried through all the way to the championship game.
The Sandlot All-Stars Elite took on the VSA Vipers for the title, and both teams put on an offensive show. Sandlot All-Stars Elite edged VSA Vipers, 12-11, for the 10U crown.
In 11U, it was the Placentia Mustangs from Garden Grove, California knocking off the Lamorinda Spartans, 14-2, for the championship. San Diego Show won the 13U age group, and Team Nebraska dominated its way to the 14U title.
Big League Dreams in Las Vegas hosted the Triple Crown Fall Nationals once again with its state-of-the-art replica fields of great places like Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium and Dodger Stadium. Triple Crown also utilized several other top notch facilities around the Las Vegas area to accomodate the 120 teams.
