Between being a four-sport athlete and school, it’s safe to say that Ethan stays busy. However, the 13-year-old has found a way to balance it all. After putting school first, Ethan is always either practicing with his club or hitting in their families batting cage with his brother. All his hard worked led up to him being named a top 32 finalist at the 12U USA Nationals team trials. Ethan was a part of Baseball Youth’s first All-American Games in SoCal where he took home the class of 2024 MVP and had the top infield, outfield, and pitching velocities in his class.

Baseball Rebellion’s Eric Tyler breaks down the swing of this week’s Baseball Youth Player to Watch, Ethan Porter! Eric shows you how Ethan does an awesome job of being athletic and explosive in his swing. Also, see how Ethan’s swing compares nicely to MLB Star Gary Sanchez. Check back in weekly for our breakdowns of Baseball Youth players!
