Texas Teams Sweep Major Divisions at 6th Annual TX-OK Super State

The Dallas Tigers-Polk won the 11U Major division at the 6th Annual TX/OK Super State.

The 6th Annual TX/OK Super State is one of the South’s biggest events of the summer, and Texas teams swept the Major Divisions at the Travel Sports Baseball event. Each of the seven champions in 8U-14U earned paid berths to the Baseball Youth National Championships on July 24-27 in Westfield, Indiana.

Each division was loaded with the top teams in Texas and Oklahoma, and the play on the field didn’t disappoint. The Banditos Black from the Houston, Texas area won the 12U championship in a 1-0 thriller over Dallas Mustangs-Sumbler. Both teams were undefeated going into the championship game, and it was a pitchers’ duel from the opening pitch.

Dallas Patriots-Pittman, ranked No. 16 in Baseball Youth’s Elite 25 rankings, won the 10U division over the Dallas Texans-Lowe, 5-0. The No. 17-ranked Dallas Tigers-Polk won the 11Us with an 8-3 win over the Keller Knights. Other Major winners were Dallas Tigers-Benson (8U), DFW Express-Wiggins (9U), DBAT Elite (13U) and NG Rangers (14U).
